Kent and Merilee Singletary and family are moving to Franklin, Tennessee where Kent has accepted a position with Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University as a "Momentum Coach." He will be the consultant who works with the churches that run on a large scale.Merilee writes: "Dave Ramsey is the author of 'The Total Money Makeover.' He also has a radio show in the south that is extremely popular. Kent's very excited about the work that Dave is doing across the country to get people out of debt and to help churches teach good stewardship."
Corey Pfaffe read Ramsey's book last summer, along with two other books by Christians to Christians about personal finance. You can find this brief book review at http://www.MinistryCPA.org/. The Pfaffe's have used credit cards for decades paying off the charges in full each month, but switched to a debit card following Dave's recommendation. They have found it to be very wise counsel.
