Title: Sales & Marketing Manager
Reports To: Regional Business

Position
Summary:
Manage
sales activities including supervision of contracts, direct sales, customer
relations, vendor relations, related financial performance and to monitor sales
in relation to goals. Prepares and delivers sales materials; attends exhibits
and other promotional opportunities. Identifies and contacts prospective clients,
generates sales proposals, and services existing accounts, ensuring quality and
consistency of service delivery.
Job Duties
and Responsibilities:
- Manages sales efforts, negotiation, sales functions, and monitoring of contracts.
- Develops and coordinates the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs; prepares for and attends exhibits, conferences, meetings, and other local, regional and promotional opportunities.
- Maintains contact with major accounts; promotes positive relations with same. Establishes rapport and maintains contact with contract clients and potential clients.
- Participates in the development of operating goals and objectives for the branches, assists in the annual budget planning process and regularly monitors expenditures.
- Analyzes and appraises the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results; approves display content and costs for showings, prepares action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project number of contacts to be made; follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from marketing activity.
- Identifies sales prospects and contacts.
- Prepares paperwork to activate and maintain contract services; oversees account services through quality checks and other follow-up; identifies and resolves client concerns.
- Prepares a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals; reports on special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Regional Vice President and Corporate Sales Director.

Education and Experience:
- Sales skills - creative ability and
imagination. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - ability
to work effectively w/diverse communities.
- Ability to work under pressure,
negotiate contracts and close sales.
- Strong organizational and planning
skills.
- Self-motivated and driven to obtain
profitable and positive results.
- Experience in budget preparation and
fiscal management.
- Creative Writing and Graphics Design
experience a plus
- Bachelors Degree in Business Management
or Marketing, MBA preferred.
- 3-5 years previous sales experience in a
service industry.
- Flexible to travel when necessary.
- Proficiency in Publisher, Adobe,
and other Office Suites including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
required.
