Ben Kieckhafer ('04)

Ben's a dad! He and his wife Jolynn "are now the happy parents of a beautiful baby girl! Brookelynn Anne was born on January 3, 2009. She weighed 8 lbs. 11 oz and was 21 inches long."

Ben says, that he is "still thoroughly enjoying [his] job at Charles Schwab [in Chandler, AZ]. It has been very interesting being a broker over the past few quarters, watching the markets plummet and helping clients react properly to these historical times."

Ben also rubbed it in a bit with his former professors (see golf picture from Ben)!

Lee Music ('95)

Mr. and Mrs. Lee Music welcomed Audrey Lynn on August 23rd. Lee says that they'll be coming to Maranatha for the 40th Anniversary. Lee's "respons-ibilities at our church are treasurer, trustee, lead the singing, teach Sunday School to young adults and also Wednesday night Kings Kids Program Head Leader." Busy! Busy!

In his spare time Lee operates a Farmers Insurance and Financial Services firm in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Zach Mortimer ('04) and Ben Kieckhafer ('04)

If you think of it, can you pray for Zach and Ben? Zach's living in PA and taking his Series 6 and Series 63 exams on January 25. Ben's living in AZ and getting ready for his Series 7 test. Both say that their Business Law class studies are coming back to them (and that makes me happy!).

Ben says: "It has been very exciting to see how the Lord is leading in my life the past few months. I feel very fortunate to have found a job so quickly here in Phoenix. I have greatly enjoyed working for Charles Schwab. It is a great company to work for. It is very fast paced and dynamic environment. ... Shortly I will begin studying for the series 7 to become a broker."

"I also feel very fortunate to have met such a wonderful woman. The week before Christmas I asked Jolynn to marry me! We are in the process of planning our wedding, which is on Friday, March 28, 2008."
